How long does the challenge go?

No matter which event you signed up for the challenge starts on June 1st and goes until September 30th. If you're signed up for the full Race Across Wisconsin that only puts you at 1.89 miles a day to finish by the end!

Do we have to run the routes?

Nope! This is a 100% virtual challenge, the routes are just here to help give you a sense of scale of your progress as you make your way through the challenge and to help us highlight some of the things we love about our state!

What activities count for logging miles?

Any and all! The only thing we ask is that you don't count the distance from your bed to your couch or your desk. While you're virtually making your way across Wisconsin we want you to be able to get from point to point however you can! Right now the activities you can log miles for include running, riding, swimming, walking, and rowing/paddling. If there are any others you'd like to see added reach out to us to see what we can do!

How do I log my miles?

You can log your miles through your RunSignup account or by text. For more details please check our Results section of the website!

Will I need Strava or my GPS watch to verify my mileage?

Nope! You can go to any of your favorite routes, open track, or even up and down your driveway over and over again as long you know the distance of where you're getting your workout in. This is on the honor system so we're counting on you to stay honest!

If I register after the race starts do I get to backlog my miles from the days I missed?

Only mileage completed after you are registered for the race will count towards the goal mileage of the even that you're in.

Is there a relay option?

No, this challenge is an individual event. If you're not up for the full 222 mile Run Across Wisconsin be sure to check out our shorter Farmland Fifty and Stadium Stretch options.

When will I get my swag?

All shirts will be mailed out on a weekly basis starting on June 12th. Your medal will be sent to you upon completion of the challenge!
